Law of conservations of behavior
Every now and then, we find someone reading an inspirational book. People have diverse opinion regarding reading those books and their effectiveness in shaping the personality. Some read them as a show off, others as a time-pass during travel and still others read them in their effort to gain something and enrich themselves.
Whatever be the intention behind the reader’s mindset, the positive impact of the matter imbibed could hardly be denied, although the extent may vary. When someone read an inspirational book, the things get into his mind at conscious as well as subconscious level. The conscious presence of good matters inspires the individual to imitate the good into his behavior. While the subconscious raw-material get reflected through his behavior without the knowledge of the individual.
During the time that the individual read a good stuff, the thing continues to repeat itself through his mental processes and this repetition continue long after the individual has left reading. High held characters of such themes inspire the individual and their high social worth make an alluring mark which attracts him to imitate like them. Believe it or not, every individual’s personality is the congregate of behavior which he or she has learnt through his child rearing practices, social learning and vicarious learning. If we feel that our behavior or personality has some unique traits, it’s just because the novel one’s have originated as a result of various permutations and combinations, additions and subtractions of the matter we have imbibed from the outside world.
The law of conservation of behaviors can be postulated which explain that there are only few basic behaviors which are present in every mankind. The rest of all the behaviors are the resultant of these basic ones. The way we shape these basic traits depend upon the mental orientation influenced by the temporary facts and circumstances.
When we read good books, at least for that period of time, we think good. These things continue to lie in our mind and occasionally get reflected in our talks and behavior. This gradually morphs our personality giving it a positive shape. The heightening frequency of such repetitions eventually make us a good individual. Reading and thinking good is the first step towards making us a good individual.
When you read good, you think good.
When you think good, you act good.
When you act good, your personality is termed good.
You yourself turn into a good individual.
