Ignite your mind – Happy Diwali!
Faith moves mountain! So move the thoughts and behaviors. Everything, including the behavior and emotions are dynamic and are highly changeable in context to the time and person. This concept of emotional and behavioral relativity makes the task of predicting behavior and emotions very difficult. We all might behave differently under the same circumstances at different times.
Faith make you believe your vision. This strengthens your determination about the eminent success. Faith is not just positive thinking, rather this is a positive attitude and way of life.
Most of the important things in our lives can’t be seen through open eyes. They can only be felt and so is the case with faith. Faith makes us fearless.
Healthy mind and positive outlook is the true possession. A friend of mine asked me, whether this philosophy of healthy mind and positive outlook can calm the hunger of a poor chap. The answer is absolute No. We can’t expect a healthy mind with a hungry belly. The fulfillment of basic necessity is the first step towards any civilized society. Any other enrichment, be it physical, social, emotional or spiritual can blink only after the basic requirements of any mortal being gets fulfilled. But, to my utter frustration, what I find is that even the well to do guys are suffering from emotional and cultural poverty to the extent that one finds them uncivilized at par with the most downtrodden struggling for fulfillment of their basic necessity.
We are celebrating Diwali today. This is the festival to welcome Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and possessions. May the goddess bless us all with the enrichment of mind and kill our proud. Let’s pledge to kill our emotional poverty which is making us less civilized and less human. We all are human being, but occasional glance at newspaper rows, or the indecent behavior of some of our proximal selves, sometimes, to our utter bewilderment, lack the tolerance, or control over emotions or behavior losing the moral etiquettes despite the wealthy enrichment. With thorough spontaneity, we find the person in-front as crocked or ready to take our advantage without having a proper unbiased evaluation. Prejudices has indoctrinated our minds and killed the charm of our lives. To hell with this life in which you find every second person as wicked; in-vane is this strive to worship if your mind is full of hatred;
May this Diwali bring true illumination of mind and heart making us feel, more human, more divine! We can change our future by simply changing our attitude to positive. Happy Diwali!
