How to stop yourself from being critical?
You can conquer your habit of criticising someone and everyone. The challenge is to go 24 hours without a single critical remark or thought. Critical temptations don’t count; these are thoughts that bloom into your mind but you somehow expel them immediately. The difference between temptation and thoughts is thoughts go beyond temptations. Don’t nurture and expand the temptation, and when that happens, start your 24 hours over again.
This is a lot harder than it looks. Once you make a critical remark or nurture a critical thought, the 24 hours start over. This challenge is for all situations and circumstances and all people. It counts even while you are driving. Nothing is reserved. This challenge will reconfigure your psyche to stop being critical.
It will cause you to consciously think about your behaviour and the harm you are doing.
