Transporters, Not Quenchers!
The people of our country are familiar with different kinds of train run by the Railway Ministry such as Passengers Trains, Goods Trains, Express Trains, Mini Bullet Trains, Bullet Trains, and Metros etc. Recently the ministry has introduced a new kind of train called Water Train. People are unfamiliar with this kind of train. It was introduced with great fanfare and was sent to Latur to solve water crisis due to severe drought. People welcomed this step warmly but when they went to Banda Railway Station with pitchers and buckets in their hands, they were shocked to know that there was no water. The train was empty. They were told that the train has not brought water. It is the duty of the State Government to tell from where it has to carry water to the place where people are thirst. In short, it is only Transporter Train not a Water Train to quench their thirst.
Then why it is called Water Train? Is it done to only to befool people? The present government is expert in using high rounding words for ordinary objects and events and events such as Simhasta Kumbh. It is also expert in present old wine in new bottles.
There cheap tactics and disappoint people. They are dismayed and angry. When people are restless the present leaders raise unimportant issues like Panama Leak and Augusta Deal only to divert people’s attention from real issue of thirst and hunger. Instead of discussing severe famine many parts of the country and rising prices, farmer suicide and other serious issues, the legislatures are busy discussing their salary hike. The present leadership is TRANSPORTER; it is neither feeder nor quencher. The government should wake up at the pitiful condition of it’s people, otherwise, the day seems no far that they will be thrown out by the poor hungry and thirsty mob.
