The Myth of Enlightenment
Most of the elite mortals strive through the various known phases of life and enlightenment as its ultimate destination. The ultimate freedom is the enigma which ripple through the process of human development. They try to achieve enlightenment as the ultimate freedom from the various evils like lust, anger, greed, pride and attachment. This is what is felt as the ultimate freedom from worldliness and the ultimate destination to happiness. During this effort to achieve the goal, people try to relinquish the worldly desires and find the way through. The hollowness of the philosophy to enlightenment is evident from the stats of individual which can be truly called enlightened. We hardly find any!
So what is this all Gurus and their so called ashramas preaching? They fail to realize that the more they work to achieve enlightenment, more the ego of being enlightened cripple their effort. A truly enlightened is the one who is aware of his ignorance and the vastness of knowledge field in which he lives in. If any entity which is so called as enlightenment do exist, it is more of a process than a destination. The so called evils has to be crushed every moment, in your words and deeds, so as to make you feel the ultimate bliss, happiness and freedom. Waiting to achieve the destination is in-vane. If you travel around the earth in search of the picturesque horizon, your travel would be just meaningless. If you choose to enjoy your travel around the earth, while enjoying the beauty of horizon every day, thing would really turn more meaningful and happier for you and your closed ones.
Start enjoying the enlightenment today. Waiting to achieve it some day is to foolish myth popularized by religious gurus for their self-ascertained benefits.
